The update is finally done and the floor in the family room has been refinished. Time to move from living in a construction zone to a clean and orderly home (well, we can hope, right?). We're very pleased with the results but I've had a hard time capturing the improvement on film. Here are a few glimpses.

The lilacs were wonderful this year!
I quickly realized an added benefit of the under-the-cupboard lights. Small seedlings could sit on the bread box and get plenty of light and then on the counter as they grew. These tomatoes are now happily growing in the garden.
Things are slowly reassembling in the back room. Thinking about a new piece of furniture to replace the current couch…it never really ends.
